Join us for our third annual Saddle Sisters’ Saddle Cleaning Event! We will provide a light meal, worship, a devotion from our special guest, Kelly Kelley, and time to visit and clean our saddles. Let’s get our hearts and our saddles ready for our saddle season! There is no charge for this event. EMAIL: deeschnautz@gmail.com for more information.
Kelly Kelley grew up in southern Illinois with dirt on her boots and horses in her heart. From an early age, rodeo was more than a sport to her—it was a way of life. Kelly competed through high school and continued through college at the University of West Alabama, where rodeo helped shape her character, discipline, and faith.
Today, Kelly trains horses for a living and has the privilege of coaching rodeo youth and hosting clinics, helping the next generation grow in both skill and confidence. She is married to a World Champion bull rider, and together they are raising three children who share their love for horses and the outdoors. As a family, they’ve learned that true grit isn’t only found in the arena.
In a single year, her family faced two life-altering battles: her husband survived a brain bleed, and Kelly was diagnosed with cancer. Through every setback, every hospital room, and every uncertain moment, they never lost sight of the Lord’s hand guiding them forward. As Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Kelly’s story is one of perseverance, faith, and western roots—proof that with God, resilience, and love, even the hardest seasons can lead to hope and purpose.
